Product information

APPLICATIONS

LQS Grout 60 is suitable for use in:

  • Machine bases, columns, and pedestals
  • Precast concrete panels and beams
  • Bridge bearing pads
  • Anchor bolts and beam connections
  • Foundation bases
  • Repair works

ADVANTAGES

  • Easy to use – only requires mixing with water
  • High early strength allows quick installation of equipment and structural elements
  • High final strength ensures long-term durability under static and dynamic loads
  • Excellent flowability for easy placement into complex voids
  • Non-segregating and non-shrinking – ensures compact filling
  • Non-toxic, does not increase chloride content in structures
  • Resistant to impact and vibration
  • Can be pumped using suitable grout pumps

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Surface Preparation:

  • Concrete surfaces must be clean, sound, and free from oil, grease, loose particles, and contaminants
  • Metal surfaces (iron, steel) must be free of scale, rust, and grease
  • Absorbent surfaces should be fully saturated with water, but no standing water should remain

Mixing Procedure:

  • Gradually add the powder into a measured amount of water depending on the desired consistency
  • Mix using a low-speed electric drill with a mixing paddle (max. 500 rpm) for at least 3 minutes until a smooth, lump-free grout is achieved

Application:

  • Pre-wet the substrate thoroughly, but ensure no standing water remains in bolt holes
  • Pour the grout immediately after mixing
  • It is possible to fill the bolt holes first, followed by the base plate
  • Ensure all entrapped air is released from the grout
  • When grouting machine bases or bearing plates, maintain continuous pressure to allow consistent grout flow
  • Formwork must be rigid and watertight
  • For optimal expansion performance, apply the grout as quickly as possible after mixing

Curing:

  • Keep exposed surfaces moist and protect from premature drying using standard curing methods
  • Minimum curing time is 3 days for exposed grout surfaces
  • Minimum application temperature: 10°C
  • If applied below 20°C, setting time and strength development may be slower

CLEANING:

  • Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with water
  • Once hardened, the product can only be removed mechanically

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Do not apply LQS Primer FS on surfaces with rising moisture
  • Do not substitute the primer with another product
  • The primer layer must be applied evenly and thoroughly

SAFETY INFORMATION:

  • Personal protection: Wear appropriate protective clothing, goggles, gloves, and a mask when using the product. May cause irritation or minor burns upon contact with skin or eyes
  • Ecology: Do not discharge into water bodies or soil
  • Transport: Not classified as hazardous
  • Alkalinity Warning:
LQS Grout 60 is cement-based and alkaline in nature. Avoid direct skin contact. If contact occurs with eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and seek medical attention

Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and other safety documentation for additional information.
