APPLICATIONS

This product is used for waterproofing in the following areas:

• Planters, kitchens, and waste processing floors

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Surface Preparation:

• Concrete and mortar surfaces must be clean, free of oil, grease, and other loose particles
• Water-absorbent surfaces must be fully saturated with clean water before applying the first coat of LQS Flex Plus

Mixing:

• Under normal conditions, mixing the two components at the recommended ratio forms a smooth slurry
• Use a clean container and gradually add the powder into the liquid, mixing with a low-speed electric mixer (max. 500 RPM)
• Mix until the product is homogeneous and free of lumps

Application:

• Apply the first coat of LQS Flex Plus to the fully saturated surface using a brush, stiff broom, or trowel
• Allow the material to cure for 1–2 hours at temperatures above 27°C before applying the second coat
• When applying on floors, to avoid damaging the first layer, apply the second coat after around 2 hours
• If the second coat is applied after 8 hours or more, re-wet the first coat before proceeding

Curing:

• As with all cement-based products, it is essential to protect LQS Flex Plus immediately after application from direct sunlight, strong winds, and frost for 3 to 5 days
• Use plastic sheets or other approved methods to ensure proper curing and reduce microcracking

Tool Cleaning:

• Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with clean water
• Hardened material can only be removed mechanically

Notes:

• After application, wait at least 3 days before water immersion
• Always use LQS Latex slurry bonding agent to prevent debonding when applying protective/finishing mortar over the waterproofing layer
• Always perform a trial application before full-scale use
