TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USESurface Preparation:
- Concrete and mortar surfaces must be clean and free from oil, grease, and loose materials.
- Fully saturate absorbent surfaces with clean water before applying the first coat of LQS Flex GP.
Mixing:
- Under normal conditions, mixing both components at the recommended ratio will produce a thick slurry.
- In a clean container, gradually add the powder (Part B) into the liquid (Part A) while mixing with a slow-speed mechanical mixer (max. 500 RPM).
- Mix until homogeneous.
Application:
- Apply the first coat of LQS Flex GP on the saturated surface using a brush, broom, or trowel.
- Allow the product to harden for 1–2 hours at temperatures above 27°C before applying the second coat.
- On floors, to avoid damaging the first coat, it’s best to apply the second coat after about 2 hours.
- If applying the second coat after 8 hours or more, re-wet the first layer before re-coating.
Curing:
- Like all cement-based materials, LQS Flex GP must be protected from direct sunlight, strong winds, and frost for 3 to 5 days after application to ensure proper hydration and minimize cracking.
- Use plastic sheets or other approved curing methods.
Tool Cleaning:
- Clean all tools and equipment immediately with clean water after use.
- Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
Additional Notes:
- Wait at least 3 days after application before exposing the waterproofed surface to water immersion.
- Always use LQS Latex slurry bonding agent to avoid delamination when applying protective/finishing mortar over the waterproofing layer.
- Always perform a trial application before large-scale use.
SAFETY INFORMATION
- Protective Equipment: Wear appropriate protective clothing, gloves, and goggles during use
- Ecology: Do not dispose of into water bodies or soil
- Transport: Non-hazardous
- Reference: Always consult the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and related safety documentation before use
