LQS Cermafix Plus is a cement-based tile adhesive with water-resistant properties and a special formula designed for bonding tiles on concrete surfaces, mortar bases, and various indoor and outdoor applications. The product is suitable for ceramic tiles, homogeneous tiles, mosaics, granite, and marble stones. It is classified as C2 according to ISO 13007-1:2010 and TCVN 7899-1:2008 standards.

APPLICATION

LQS Cermafix Plus can be used as an adhesive layer for tile installation in the following areas:

  • Sanitary areas
  • Kitchen areas
  • Mortar brick walls
  • Exterior walls
  • Balconies
  • Swimming pools

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Surface Preparation:

  • Concrete surfaces must be clean, solid, and free from oil, cement dust, and other contaminants.
  • Absorbent surfaces should be fully saturated with water but free of standing water.

Mixing:

  • Pour LQS Cermafix Plus into about 5-5.5 liters of clean water. Mix thoroughly by hand or with an electric mixer for 3-5 minutes until a uniform mixture is achieved.
  • Let the mixture rest for 1-2 minutes to allow the components to react, then remix for 1 minute before use.

Application:

  • Use a notched trowel to evenly spread the adhesive on the surface. For better adhesion, also apply adhesive on the back of the tile.
  • Tiles with different thicknesses require correct adhesive application rates to ensure proper bonding. Press tiles firmly into position and tamp them down tightly.
  • Tile adjustment should be done within 20 minutes after application. Ensure adhesive is evenly distributed on the entire tile surface.
  • Remove excess adhesive from joints before grouting.
  • Use the mixed adhesive within 60 minutes, depending on ambient temperature.

Cleaning:

  • Clean all tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

Recommendations:

  • Do not use tile adhesive on wood, asphalt, plastic, metal, or glass surfaces.
