APPLICATION

LQS Cermafix GP is a pre-packaged cement-based tile adhesive used for bonding ceramic tiles and homogeneous tiles (medium and small sizes).

LQS Cermafix GP can be applied as a thin or thick adhesive layer for interior floors and walls. It is a versatile product.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Surface preparation:

  • Concrete surfaces must be clean, solid, free from oil, grease, cement dust, and other contaminants.
  • Absorbent surfaces should be fully saturated but without standing water.

Mixing:

  • Pour LQS Cermafix GP into approximately 5-5.5 liters of clean water and mix thoroughly by hand or with an electric mixer for 3-5 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is achieved.
  • Let stand for 1-2 minutes to allow chemical reactions, then remix for 1 minute before use.

Application:

  • Use a notched trowel to spread the adhesive evenly on the surface. To ensure better adhesion, also apply adhesive to the back of the tile.
  • For tiles of different thicknesses, apply the adhesive according to the recommended usage to ensure good bonding. Press tiles firmly onto the surface and tamp them into place.
  • Tile adjustments should be made within 20 minutes after application. Ensure adhesive is evenly distributed across the tile surface.
  • Remove excess adhesive from grout lines before grouting.
  • The mixed adhesive should be used within 60 minutes, depending on ambient temperature.

Cleaning:

  • Clean all tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
